WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An Welcomes Compal Executives for Site Visit

Vietnam, 22 June 2022 - WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An’s representatives recently welcomed executives from Compal Electronics, Inc. (Compal), a Taiwan-based manufacturer of desktops, laptops, smartphones, servers, and other electronics products. The company’s executives visited the site to explore land purchase and development opportunities to expand the business.
Compal’s interest in WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An confirms the appeal of the Northern province and its role in the formation of an electronics cluster, as part of Vietnam’s Northern Technology Corridor.  Thanks to the province’s strategic location, its easy connection to air, sea and road transportation, plus a well-trained and skilled workforce, WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An’s world-class infrastructure is attracting more and more international and local investors for further expansion.
On June 23, in Vinh City, Mr. KC Chen, Senior Vice President, and Ms. Anchalee Prasertchand, Director – International, WHA Industrial Development Plc., were welcomed by Mr. Le Tien Tri, Director of Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board, to exchange ideas and discuss the investment environment and conditions, as well as incentives for potential investors.
During the meeting, representatives of the Tax and Customs departments answered questions from Compal representatives, and offered their support and reassurance to future investors in Nghe An province.
