WHA Group Announces Project Master Plan Approval for WHA Smart Technology Industrial Zone - Thanh Hoa

WHA Group announces a significant milestone in the development of its 2nd Industrial Zone project in Vietnam, WHA Smart Technology Industrial Zone - Thanh Hoa, with the recent approval of the 1/5000 Project Master Plan covering an area of 540 hectares. This approval sets the basis for WHA to proceed with the project investment licensing steps for a planned start of construction in the 2nd half of 2024. It also marks a pivotal moment for WHA in pursuing its commitment to driving innovation, sustainable growth, and economic prosperity in Thanh Hoa Province.

WHA Smart Technology Industrial Zone - Thanh Hoa will be world-class, modern and environmental-friendly industrial zone slated to transform the industrial landscape in Thanh Hoa Province and Vietnam. With its 12-kilometer proximity to the main city of the Province, large-scale area and available skilled workforce, the Project will capture demand from high value technology companies across key sectors, including electronics, electrical, telecommunications, robotics, aerospace, logistics, photonics, high-value agriculture, and pharmaceuticals/medical industries.

During the ceremony, on behalf of WHA Group, Mr. PajongwitPongsivapai, Chief Operating Officer, WHA Industrial Development PLC, expressed gratitude tothe Thanh Hoa province authorities and other relevant departments for the support and emphasized that the approval is a significant step forward in creating massive opportunities for employment opportunities, FDI attraction, GDP growth and economic and social developments in Thanh Hoa province and Vietnam.
