Over 2,000 Participants Attend WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An 2025 Job Fair: A Strong Boost for Employment in the North Central Region

Nghe An, Vietnam – WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An, in collaboration with the Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board and the People's Committee of Nghi Loc District, successfully organized the 2025 WHA Job Fair on Sunday, April 27th. The event, held at WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An, attracted more than 2,000 participants, including local workers, students, and business representatives, creating a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.

The job fair aimed to connect local job seekers with employment opportunities within WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An and surrounding areas. Participating companies offered a diverse range of positions across sectors such as electronics, automotive components, and food processing.

Notably, 15 prominent enterprises took part in the event, offering hundreds of positions across various manufacturers in electronics, optics, plastics, and logistics - conducted on-site interviews, career consultations, and recruitment activities. These included:

These companies offered a wide array of job opportunities, ranging from technical roles such as production engineers and technicians to administrative and managerial positions.
A Massive Mobilization for Opportunities

The morning session welcomed approximately 1,200 job seekers from Nghi Loc and surrounding districts engaging directly with recruiters. In the afternoon, 846 students from leading universities, colleges, and vocational schools, including Vinh University, Nghe An University, Viet-Duc College, and Korea-Vietnam College of Technology, joined the fair, demonstrating strong coordination between educational institutions and organizers.

Government Recognition and Future Plans

Mr. Bui Dinh Long, Vice Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial People’s Committee, attended the event and commended the proactive cooperation between the province, investors, and enterprises. He called for ongoing synchronization between training programs and evolving industry needs, with the goal of establishing Nghe An as a leading destination for industrial labor in Vietnam’s North Central region.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Le Tien Tri, Head of the Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board, emphasized Nghe An’s strategic focus on aligning labor supply and demand. He noted the expected creation of around 12,000 new job positions in the province in 2025, particularly within major industrial parks like WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An. He praised WHA for its professional efforts in developing high-quality infrastructure and attracting foreign and domestic investors, thereby driving significant employment demand.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Lien, General Director of WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC, highlighted the zone's ongoing expansion and its increasing demand for skilled labor, emphasizing WHA's commitment to contributing to Nghe An's socio-economic development by fostering high-quality employment opportunities. She also outlined the current operational status of WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An, with Phase 1 nearly fully occupied and Phase 2 attracting increasing investment. Ms. Lien noted the presence of over 30 FDI and DDI enterprises in the zone, employing approximately 8,000 workers, and the expected creation of over 12,000 new job opportunities in the coming year.
