WHA Vietnam continues to support activities that help foster the development of communities around WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An and improve the lives of the residents. On behalf of WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC , Mr. Ngo Khac Toan, Senior Manager, donated funds to the People's Committee of Nghi Dong commune to build a cultural institution for the Cultural House of Hamlet 4, and to purchase a new speaker system for the Cultural House of Hamlet 3. Besides, WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC also presented to speaker system for the cultural house in hamlet 3, Nghi Dong commune.  

WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC employees gathered to give blood during a drive held recently on the occasion of National Blood Donation Day.   This meaningful project is part of a series of activities programmed for Workers' Month 2023. As soon as the grassroots trade union decided to support the cause, a large number of WHA staff signed up and donated blood. From 7am, WHA staff came to Nghe An Hematology - Blood Transfusion Center and waited in line to donate blood to save lives. WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC has decided to hold this special community activity every year.    

Mr. Kampol Noramat (center left), Assistant Director – WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC., and Dr. Pham Huu Truyen (center right), Principal, Vinh University of Technology Education, recently signed a collaboration agreement for technical cooperation on training and recruitment. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Kampol Noramat gave an overview of WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An, the largest, well-planned industrial zone in North Central Vietnam.  With a total of 1,850 hectares upon completion, WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An is the perfect location for businesses to develop, expand and increase their footprint in the future. With the enthusiastic support of Vinh University of Technology Education, both parties finalized an information exchange agreement that will enhance the education, training, and recruitment of a high-quality workforce for current and prospective factories in the Industrial Zone. On behalf of the company, Mr. Pratuang Glaiglangdon - Senior Manager, Community Relations – WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC, also gave a scholarship fund to Vinh University of Technology Education to assist students encountering financial challenges. This long-term collaboration, based on equality and mutual respect, is expected to start a new strategic direction for WHA and the University, in line with the development goals of each party.  

In line with the policy to promote business cooperation to serve training goals and meet social needs, WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC and Vinh University recently held a Cooperation Agreement Signing Ceremony. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang (center right) – Principal of Vinh University, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich Lien (center left) – General Director of WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC, signed the Cooperation Agreement in the presence of Ms. Anchalee Prasertchand (6th left) – Director, International, WHA International Development PLC and Dr. Tran Ba Tien (7th right) - Vice Principal of Vinh University Ms. Anchalee Prasertchand, Director (Center) – International Department, WHA industrial Development PLC shared: “We are very fortunate for this opportunity to work and cooperate with Vinh University, one of the leading universities in the North Central region of Vietnam. With a variety of industries, the school can provide thousands of well-trained and highly specialized graduates each year for businesses in the area. We believe that education and business will always maintain a mutual relationship, and continually accompany and support each other. Following the announcement of Nghi Loc’s qualification as a New Rural District, WHA Industrial Zone Nghe An JSC donated a drone system that can observe the area and take aerial photos and videos that will help facilitate public management and improve operational efficiency.
