WHA Vietnam Takes Part in Thailand-Vietnam Investor Connect 2024

On 28th August 2024, WHA Vietnam participated in the Thailand-Vietnam Investor Connect 2024, which aim was to foster cross-border collaboration between Thai and Vietnam. The event, held at the VET Building in Hanoi, co-organized by Thailand’s Board of Investment (BOI), IPA Vietnam, and ThaiCham focused on promoting investment and strengthening bilateral business relations.

Ms. Anchalee Prasertchand, Vice President - International Customer Development and representative of WHA Industrial Development PLC, delivers a keynote presentation on why Vietnam stands as a prime investment destination, noting the 6.4% GDP growth in the first half of 2024 as a key indicator of the country’s robust performance. The company’s Smart Eco Industrial approach integrating sustainable practices with advanced technology, was particularly of interest to Thai investors seeking growth opportunities in Vietnam.

During the exploration, participants also engaged with the “DPL Vietnam Minh Quang” logistics facility in Hung Yen Province, a collaboration between WHA Group and Daiwa House that showcases advanced logistics solutions integrated with Vietnam’s industrial growth. WHA Logistics presented its ready-built factories and warehouses (RBF/RBW), offering premium spaces in a strategic location between Hanoi and Hai Phong, with excellent access to major roads and international seaports for both domestic and international shipping. The area is home to over 90 Japanese companies specializing in the raw material and finished goods storage industry.


The event provided WHA Vietnam with an opportunity to reaffirm its dedication to fostering cross-border business partnerships and enhancing economic cooperation between Thailand and Vietnam. The company's focus on sustainable industrial growth and its strategic investments in emerging regions resonated with attendees, solidifying WHA’s position as a key player in the in logistics, industrial development, utilities and power as well as digital services.
