US Ambassador visits WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An

On 27 September 2023, on the official visit to Nghe An Province, His Excellency Mr. Marc E. Knapper, Ambassador of the United States to Vietnam, and delegations visited to WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An.

The ambassador expressed his strong appreciation of the innovative Smart-Eco Industrial Zone developed by WHA Group, and the advanced technology manufacturing ecosystem fostered by key tenants like Goertek, FIT Interconnect (a Foxconn subsidiary), and their supply chains. He viewed this as a significant advantage for Nghe An in attracting US investments, particularly considering the elevated comprehensive strategic partnership between the US and Vietnam. The US has pledged support for Vietnam in its semiconductor industry, further strengthening their relationship."

Mr. Nha Vinh Julien, Nguyen – Country Head, WHA Viet Nam and Ms. Anchalee Prasertchand, Vice President – International Department, WHA Industrial Development PLC, welcomed and delivered an overview introduction of WHA Group and WHA Industrial Zone 1- Nghe An, as its flagship project in Viet Nam.




After the intimate conversation, the Ambassador went sightseeing at the solar power system equipped at the WHA office building and took a tour around WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An.
