Under the inspiring theme “Plant Today – Shape Tomorrow,” WHA Group hosted its annual Tree Planting 2026 initiative, proving that industrial progress and environmental harmony can thrive side-by-side.

The Road to 500,000: A Vision Taking Root
As the morning mist cleared over Phase 2 of the industrial zone, Ms. Anchalee Prasertchand, Vice President of International Customer Development at WHA Industrial Development, shared a vision that transcends standard corporate responsibility.

Today, as we celebrate our 150,000th tree taking root, we aren't just improving air quality—we are building a legacy of Net Zero emissions for the next generation.”

The sound of shovels hitting the earth echoed a shared commitment among a diverse group of stakeholders. This year's planting ceremony was distinguished by the active participation of high-level dignitaries, including Mr. Nguyen Manh Loi, Deputy Director of the Dong Nam Economic Zone Authority, alongside local leaders Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh, Secretary of Trung Loc Commune, and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Chairman of Than Linh Commune.

Joining them were leaders from a wide array of global FDI giants and local partners who moved from the boardroom to the field to personally plant symbolic trees. Participating companies included Fu Wing Interconnect Technology (Nghe An) - Foxconn, Sunny Automotive Quang Hoc Vietnam, Long Hao Trading, Koyu Textile Vietnam, Alltop Industrial, Xin Bao Science and Technology, ALS Vietnam Services, Tan Viet Metal Science and Technology, SB (Nghe An), Prussia Metal Vietnam, and Topgoal Vietnam Electronics. Together, these partners planted trees that will grow to provide shade, reduce carbon, and support local biodiversity for decades to come.

With these 11 prominent industrial partners joining this year’s effort, the initiative stands as a cornerstone of WHA’s environmental strategy, paving a clear and steady path toward the ultimate destination of Net Zero emissions.
