WHA Vietnam Co-organizes Webinar on ''Vietnam Economic Overview and Nghe An - A New Strategic Manufacturing Hub”

WHA Industrial Development recently co-organized a webinar on “Vietnam Economic Overview and Nghe An - A New Strategic Manufacturing Hub” with the ASEAN-Japan Center for representatives of Japanese companies exploring investment opportunities in Vietnam, especially in Nghe An province.   Among the topics discussed were the benefits of investing in Nghe An province, easy investment procedures via online portal, and a case study of a Japanese investment project.

Ms. Anchalee Prasertchand , Director - International Department, WHA Industrial Development PLC, welcomed participants to the Webinar and gave an overview of WHA’s 35-year experience and expertise in industrial zone development. She highlighted WHA Industrial Zone 1- Nghe An’s readiness, in terms of infrastructure and services, to welcome investors from Japan.

Mr. Kenichi Yuasa, Director – Industrial Customer Development – WHA Industrial Development PLC, presented WHA Industrial Zone 1 – Nghe An’s world-class utilities and infrastructure, underscoring its best practices in development, operations, and maintenance, to ensure that investors operate smoothly and achieve sustainable growth with WHA.

During the webinar, Mr. Tran Khanh Thuc – Director - Department of Foreign Affairs of Nghe An province, shared Nghe An province’s favorable environment and government support to FDIs.


To encourage Japanese investors, Ms. Do Thi Quynh Nga, Director – Investment Promotion Center – North Foreign Investment Agency, Ministry of Planning and Investment, explained FDIs in Vietnam and preferential condition guidelines.
